Job Title: Facilities Lead III
Duration: (W2 contract)12 months
Schedule: 5/2 (M-F) - 8 hours per day
Location: Midland, TX
This opportunity is suited to an engineering professional supporting brownfield oil and gas facilities operations, surveillance, and small project delivery across existing assets. The role focuses on debottlenecking production, reducing downtime, closing out safety and risk hazards through engineering action, and supporting facilities engineering activities in a Midland Basin environment. This position offers exposure to scope of work development, bill of materials preparation, red line updates, and P&ID review within a technically demanding operations setting.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
- Required Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in oil and gas facilities engineering
- Experience supporting brownfield facilities engineering and operations for existing assets
- Experience managing small to medium-sized projects through to completion
- Experience working with Midland Basin facilities and process engineering activities
- Experience involved in ongoing equipment operations, maintenance planning, and consultation on future renovations and construction
- Required Skills:
- Ability to manage MOC drawings, prepare scope of work documentation, and develop bill of materials
- Proficiency in red lining documents and P&ID review
- Ability to evaluate and comment on engineering work completed internally and by contractors to ensure alignment with company specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
- Ability to support debottlenecking of new production volumes and batteries as needed
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Fluent English for technical and business communication
