Job Title: Field Operator II or III (Water Transfer Tech)
Duration: 1 year initially with possibility of extension
Schedule: Initial 5x2 (8-hour days), moving to 8x6 (10-hour days)
Location: Midland, TX
This opportunity offers hands-on field-based work within water transfer operations, supporting receiver site activities across construction, drilling and completions environments. The role focuses on water management, contractor safety oversight, leak checks, setup readiness and standards integrity in a 100% field setting. This position will suit candidates with practical site experience who can work confidently around equipment, connections and metering processes.
Required Experience:
- 2-5 years of relevant field experience in water transfer, water management, construction, drilling or completions environments.
- Experience working in a 100% field-based operational role.
- Experience supporting receiver site activities, including setup readiness, connections, equipment checks and metering verification.
Required Skills:
- Must live within 50-mile radius from Midland, Texas
- Ability to monitor water transfer operations and attend field jobs involving supply water pipeline to receiver site activity.
- Ability to perform leak checks and support setup readiness across field equipment and site connections.
- Understanding of safety programme expectations, including PSMS and WMS, in contractor work environments.
- Knowledge of standards integrity and diesel extract activities within field operations.
