This opportunity offers involvement in a major FPSO development supporting electrical engineering activities across detailed design, construction and delivery. The role is based within an international, multicultural project environment and focuses on electrical equipment, package interfaces, technical review and offshore safety support. This position is well suited to candidates with FPSO plant electrical design experience in oil and gas and an interest in working across contractor offices and offshore missions.

Required Education:

  • Graduate Engineer in Electrical Engineering or a related electrical discipline.

Required Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in oil and gas projects.

  • Previous experience in electrical design for an FPSO plant.

  • Experience reviewing detailed design deliverables, technical queries and electrical engineering documentation.

  • Exposure to construction, delivery, inspection or witnessing of electrical activities, including vendor premises where required.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical equipment and installation within FPSO environments.

  • Ability to review and comment on detailed design deliverables in line with project specifications, procedures and international codes.

  • Capability to coordinate across disciplines including process, structural and safety functions to support effective design interfaces.

  • Experience supporting package interface consistency and continuity of design.

  • Effective technical communication skills for engagement with contractor counterparts, technical meetings and reporting lines.

  • Fluent English and French, both written and spoken.

  • Proactive approach, strong anticipation skills and a rigorous working style.

  • Ability to contribute to HAZOP and PTR reviews and support safety-related electrical matters during construction activities.
