Gas Analysis Administrator
Airswift is seeking a Gas Analysis Administrator to work on a 1-year contract basis with one of our major Oil & Gas clients.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for fluid analysis and ProTrend administration, ensuring accurate sample management, regulatory compliance, data integrity, and ongoing support for operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for
ProTrend
support, troubleshooting, and user training across field operations, production accounting, and operations teams.
- Serve as the
subject matter expert
for fluid analysis, sampling processes, and ProTrend application administration.
- Coordinate and administer oil and gas sample scheduling, validation, and distribution processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements across
Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan
.
- Manage laboratory data imports, analysis validation, audit processes, and exports to various business systems.
- Analyze schematic drawings to identify sample points, metering locations, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate third-party laboratory analysis, including scheduling, setup, validation, review, and communication of issues or concerns.
- Support and resolve software-related issues associated with gas analysis processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum
3 years of Oil & Gas Fluid Analysis Administration experience
, including hands-on experience with
ProTrend
.
- Strong understanding of
Heavy Oil, Conventional, and Upstream Oil & Gas operations
.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience working with large datasets.
- Proficiency in
VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables
, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of chemistry.
- Experience with
Petrinex
and production accounting processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting and fluid analysis compliance requirements.
