Airswift is looking for a Global Curricula Owner to work in a contractor position in Guyana with an Oil and Gas Company.
The Global Curricula Owner is responsible for developing and sustaining workforce competency, technical training, and procedural excellence programs that support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Training stakeholders. The role oversees procedure development, implementation, workforce capability programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will combine Oil and Gas Industry operational and maintenance experience, workforce development, and strong leadership skills to ensure personnel are competent, procedures are effective, and operational requirements are translated into practical learning and performance solutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain competency assurance programs for Operations and Maintenance personnel.
Design, implement, and evaluate technical training programs for the Operations, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines.
Identify competency gaps through assessments, workforce performance data, and stakeholder engagement, and develop targeted improvement plans.
Manage learning management processes, qualification requirements, and competency records to enhance workforce readiness.
Support onboarding, progression, qualification, and refresher training programs.
Lead the development, review, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational and maintenance procedures.
Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams to identify critical tasks requiring documented procedures and work instructions.
Coordinate subject matter experts to ensure procedures are technically accurate, practical, and aligned with operational requirements.
Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews of procedures and associated documentation.
Manage procedure updates and change management activities, ensuring affected personnel are trained and informed about revisions.
Establish effective partnerships with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Projects, and Training teams.
Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors, instructors, and technical personnel to strengthen workforce capability.
Lead workforce development and procedure improvement initiatives through collaboration and influence.
Coordinate external training providers, contractors, and subject matter experts as needed.
Monitor and communicate performance metrics related to training, competence, and procedures.
Conduct training compliance reviews and competence gap analyses.
Support investigations and corrective actions related to workforce capability, training, or procedural issues.
Recommend and implement improvements that enhance workforce effectiveness, operational performance, and procedural compliance.
Manage budgets and resources associated with workforce development activities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical diploma
Experience Requirements
Experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably as a maintenance technician in production facilities, FPSO operations, or similar operational environments.
Experience in developing and implementing competence assurance programs for Operations and Maintenance teams.
Experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating technical training programs.
Experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and workforce training records.
Experience in the development, review, implementation, and maintenance of operational and maintenance procedures.
Experience managing procedure change processes and communicating procedure updates to the workforce.
Proven experience using workforce performance metrics, training analyses, and competency assessments to drive improvements.
Experience collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Project teams to enhance workforce capability and operational performance.
