H3SE SUPERVISOR PS5/6



Airswift is recruiting for an H3SE SUPERVISOR opportunity with a major pipeline and export infrastructure operator. This H3SE SUPERVISOR role is based on site at PS5/6 and offers the chance to contribute to a technically demanding operational environment within the oil and gas sector. The H3SE SUPERVISOR will support safe site operations, emergency response preparedness, permit-to-work activities, and compliance with H3SE management systems. This H3SE SUPERVISOR position is suited to candidates with strong operational HSE experience, solid risk assessment capability, and a practical background in industrial safety supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support site safety, health and environmental protection activities in coordination with site stakeholders
- Monitor compliance of site activities with company H3SE procedures and policies
- Participate in the preparation and execution of work permits as Safety Authority
- Carry out and support safety training for site personnel and contractor personnel
- Review, update and help improve the Site Emergency Response Plan
- Coordinate H3SE KPI and event reporting
- Control site operations and interventions to ensure compliance with rules and procedures
- Ensure risk assessments are completed before potentially hazardous activities
- Participate in and organise Job Risk Assessments with contractors
- Implement, monitor and report corrective actions arising from site tours, audits and inspections
- Stop unsafe operations or situations and report them immediately to site management
- Support training for emergency response personnel and response team members
- Propose safety drill scenarios, prepare plans, issue reports and follow up on recommendations
- Contribute to the preventive maintenance scheduling of safety equipment
- Check compliance with safety equipment inspection procedures and safety file updates
- Ensure the availability and functionality of life-saving appliances
- Maintain the register of degraded situations and track follow-up actions
- Assist with incident and accident investigations and support implementation of recommendations
- Prepare and lead monthly and quarterly H3SE meetings
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly H3SE reports on site surveys and inspections
- During the construction and commissioning phase, become familiar with project safety documentation, operating manuals, philosophies, flowcharts and cause-and-effect diagrams
- Assist in drafting site H3SE procedures and guidelines
- Provide direction and guidance to management and contractors on workplace H3SE matters

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate or Diploma in Engineering, Sciences or equivalent
- HSE certification such as NEBOSH, OSHA or IOSH
- Previous experience in a safety and environmental role such as HSE Engineer, HSE Supervisor or HSE Officer
- At least 10 years of experience in an operational environment, preferably within the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of HSE management systems in an industrial setting
- Good written and spoken English

Preferred Background:
- Familiarity with ISO safety, quality and environmental standards
- Certification in risk assessment and occupational health and safety would be advantageous

Work Pattern:
- Site-based at PS5 and PS6

About the Company:
This company is involved in a major midstream infrastructure development including a nearshore marine storage and export terminal. Once completed, the business will operate a 1,443 km electrically heated crude oil export pipeline linking inland production to the coast for export to international markets. The project offers exposure to large-scale operational, construction and commissioning activities in a complex energy environment.
