Job Title: Hardware Test Engineer
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Bascharage, Luxembourg
This opportunity sits within a hardware architecture team focused on highly competitive and innovative products in automotive electronics and e-mobility. The role supports functional hardware testing, bench testing, test automation and technical problem-solving, with direct impact across validation, manufacturing change support and issue resolution. This company offers a technically challenging environment where embedded hardware systems and analog electronics expertise can be applied across the product lifecycle.
Required Education:
- Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field
Required Experience:
- Experience in automotive electronics or e-mobility hardware
- Experience working with functional hardware testing and electrical bench testing
- Experience supporting problem-solving activities on complex hardware products
- Experience analysing customer issues and internal issue tickets through reproduction and coordinated resolution
- Experience supporting manufacturing changes in a production environment
Required Skills:
- Strong capability in developing product functional test plans for compliance testing
- Ability to develop hardware test setups and improve test benches
- Hands-on experience performing manual functional testing of products or hardware benches
- Ability to contribute to hardware test automation and define and validate new test software functions
- Solid foundation in embedded hardware systems and analog electronics
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to track and report test progress and manage hardware defects
- Ability to provide technical support for hardware environmental and electromagnetic compatibility validation
- Ability to work independently with ownership and accountability
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics clearly and translate technical data into actionable insights
- Fluent English
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally toward shared objectives
Required Certifications:
- DGUV 200-006 Level 2 and 3 High-Voltage qualification, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- German language skills
- French language skills
