Job Purpose
Provide Engineering support to LNG Train Restoration project leadership team by over seeing the execution of all engineering Studies required to for execution of the project, ensuring clear alignment between all stakeholders. Ensure that the project’s requirements for all engineering deliverables, related to Restoration project are fully executed by the engineering contractor per project schedule.
Context
This role is responsible for leading all Engineering studies related to executed restoration project, ability to interact with Engineering contractor and third party consultants to meet scope objectives. • Major challenges for this role includes (1) effectively collaborating with Operations, shareholders, contractor and licensors counterparts to ensure scope is effectively & timely executed (2)) maintaining constructive working relationship with PMTs, engineering contractors and Operations team to ensure delivery of project units in accordance with project requirements (4) maintaining relationships with stakeholders (e.g. Operations and shareholders) to ensure alignment of Process Engineering deliverables.
Accountabilities
Oversee engineering, design, quality assurance, leadership, and expertise in accordance with project deliverables and approved execution schedule. 2. Direct the preparation and stewardship of engineering scope of work for engineering studies required for execution, advise and recommend design procedures, deliverables as required, to optimize project schedule to match restoration project schedule as much possible. 3. Maintain close liaison with members of PMT Engineering teams and alignment with the Engineering Division Manager on project engineering needs, objectives, and requirements. 4. Ensure execution of work is technically aligned and in compliance with operations, policies, standards of business conduct and Project Management System as applicable. 5. Provide support to PMT in areas related to technical bid evaluations, qualifications, and experience of engineering companies; 6. Ensure usage of appropriate design tools, including computer hardware and software; adherence with all project objectives, requirements, specifications, standards, procedures, execution plans and design verification processes. 7. Assess and validate engineering contractor and third party consultants (as applicable) capability in providing all contract documents, progress measurement and reporting and recommends additional technical support to address gaps. 8. Facilitate engineering schedule and related milestones, provides data (study reports, narrative, charts, graphs, change management recommendations and recovery plans to address any schedule delays) for monthly progress and stewardship reporting. 9. Ensure knowledge sharing from previous lessons learned, capturing, and communicating current lessons learned to support review teams and future projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Knowledge
10 years of experience in discipline with at least 6 years demonstrated senior engineering experience in major capital projects in the oil and gas sector. Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds. • 2 years experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/sub-contractors/service/vendor personnel.
