We are seeking an experienced Head of Production to lead high-volume AGM battery manufacturing operations and drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and workforce engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop production supervisors, engineers, technicians, and operators.
- Manage daily production operations to achieve output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to manufacturing specifications, process controls, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Drive productivity, OEE, yield improvement, downtime reduction, and cost optimization.
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and operational excellence initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
- 8-10+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in AGM or lead-acid battery production
- Minimum 5 years leading large production teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, OEE, Lean Manufacturing, and Root Cause Analysis
- Proven people leadership and workforce development experience
