This opportunity supports the full employment lifecycle within a complex HR environment, with broad exposure across talent acquisition, employee relations, talent management, compensation and benefits, onboarding, and HR operations. The role offers the chance to provide expert guidance on HR policies and processes while contributing to process improvement, reporting, and compliance-focused activity. This position will suit professionals with strong HR systems experience and the ability to manage high-complexity issues through sound judgement and immediate action.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide timely and accurate guidance on general HR matters, including policies, processes, employee relations, benefits, talent development, and payroll-related queries.
Manage recruitment activity in line with business requirements.
Oversee the offer process, including employment contracts and offer letters, in line with company policy and applicable laws and regulations.
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation sessions, exit interviews, and system updates.
Support and manage talent management activity, including talent review, succession planning, and goal-setting initiatives.
Manage compensation processes such as salary reviews and promotions, including annual merit review activity.
Partner with HR centres of expertise on wider business initiatives.
Maintain or oversee HR systems and related processes as required.
Generate monthly and ad hoc HR reports through data compilation, transformation, and visualisation.
Recommend process improvements and innovations to improve efficiency.
Develop, maintain, and approve procedural documentation to reflect business processes accurately.
Manage a team of HR generalists.
Lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with company policies and procedures.
Support understanding of policy responsibilities and authority across the workforce.
Ensure mandatory training is completed on time by the team.
Must-Have Skills:
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar or senior HR generalist role.
Strong understanding of HR principles and practices across the employee lifecycle.
Experience managing recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, talent management, compensation, and benefits processes.
Experience with HR systems such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
Ability to work within defined parameters while making decisions on high-complexity issues.
Strong reporting capability, including compiling, transforming, and visualising HR data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build effective working relationships and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Experience managing or leading HR teams.
Strong understanding of compliance, policy implementation, and procedural governance.
Nice-to-Have:
