This opportunity supports a Health, Safety, and Environment function within a chemical manufacturing business, with a strong focus on data entry, environmental reporting, and compliance administration. The role offers the chance to work across systems including Excel, Access, SAP, and Intelex while helping maintain accurate records, incident reporting, and audit readiness. This position will suit candidates who are detail-oriented and confident managing technical administrative processes in an HSE setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and maintain data across multiple systems, including Intelex and Access, ensuring high standards of data integrity.

  • Assist in preparing and assembling environmental reports for regulatory agencies to support timely submission and compliance.

  • Maintain correspondence logs and support certified mailings related to environmental permits and notices.

  • Process requisitions in SAP and coordinate ordering of office supplies.

  • Support meeting and event logistics, including set-up and organisation.

  • Pull incident records from the internal database and prepare monthly reports for review.

  • Help maintain safety recognition activities, including the Safe Worker Sticker program.

  • Maintain and order plant safety banners and public notices linked to environmental permits.

  • Act as a point of coordination for HSE-related administrative enquiries and communication between departments.

  • Assist with preparation for internal and external audits by providing documentation and supporting data.

Required Skills:

  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Access.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of SAP

  • More than 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, LNG, and Industrial Construction (EPC) industries.

Preferred Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Preferred).

Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an HSE role or plant administrative position.

  • Experience supporting environmental compliance activities.

  • Familiarity with Intelex or a similar incident management system.
