Airswift is looking for a HSE Engineer I to work in a permanent contract in Rio das Ostras with a major Oil & Gas Company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct technical occupational safety inspections at operational bases, workshops, laboratories, administrative areas, worksites, vessels, and active work fronts, evaluating compliance with applicable legislation, Regulatory Standards (NRs), contractual requirements, and risk management standards.
Provide technical guidance to operational areas regarding hazard identification, assessment of occupational and operational risks, definition of preventive measures, and implementation of engineering, administrative, individual, and collective protection controls.
Develop, implement, review, and monitor the Risk Management Program (PGR), ensuring the management of the Occupational Risk Inventory, Action Plan, hazard identification and risk assessment/control processes, Management of Change (MOC), verification of control effectiveness, integration with the PCMSO (Occupational Health Medical Control Program), and compliance with NR-01 (GRO) requirements.
Coordinate technical studies and assessments regarding occupational exposure to physical, chemical, biological, and ergonomic agents, as well as accident hazards, proposing measures for risk elimination, substitution, mitigation, and monitoring.
Prepare technical opinions, expert reports, inspection reports, management reports, technical analyses, safety requirement specifications, and other documents required by legislation, contracts, or audits.
Conduct technical evaluations of facilities, equipment, machinery, load handling systems, lifting equipment, electrical systems, pressure vessels, hazardous areas, and other critical assets, issuing recommendations to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Participate in operational risk analyses (APR, JSA, HIRA, HAZID, and other adopted methodologies), ensuring the correct identification of hazards, preventive and mitigating barriers, and critical controls necessary for the safe execution of activities.
Provide technical coordination for the investigation process regarding accidents, incidents, deviations, near-misses, and operational failures, applying structured root cause analysis methodologies and verifying the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with active CREA registration
Postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering
Intermediate English – REQUIRED
