We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead all Environmental, Health & Safety activities on a major industrial construction project.
This is a key site-based leadership role, responsible for driving a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting successful project delivery across all phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all EHS activities across the construction site.
- Drive safety performance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage and supervise site personnel, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and field inspections.
- Ensure full compliance with Basic Safety Process requirements and project-specific safety standards.
- Work closely with Quality teams and contractors to ensure alignment between safety and quality objectives.
- Support the implementation, monitoring, and verification of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Prepare and submit daily EHS and construction supervision reports covering:
- Safety performance
- Quality observations
- Workforce and manpower levels
- Equipment utilisation
- Contractor performance
- Schedule progress and cost impacts
Required Experience
- Proven experience delivering EHS leadership throughout the full lifecycle of large-scale industrial construction projects.
- Strong background within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, or Energy sectors.
- Demonstrated experience working on brownfield construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction logistics, transportation, and material handling.
- Extensive contractor and subcontractor management experience.
