This HSE Supervisor role offers the opportunity to support site safety within a construction environment, working alongside companies and subcontractors to help apply HSE requirements in the field.
Role Context
This position is based in a construction site environment and focuses on field-level HSE supervision. The HSE Supervisor will work closely with operational teams to help ensure safety practices are applied consistently and that site procedures are respected.
About the Role
The HSE Supervisor will support the application of HSE plans and site procedures, contributing to safe working conditions and the prevention of unsafe situations. The HSE Supervisor will have authority to stop work if a dangerous situation is identified.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in risk analyses with the companies involved and the site.
- Ensure the proper application of the HSE Plan for the site.
- Take part in prevention plans and site HSE meetings.
- Verify the daily application of HSE rules by on-site staff and subcontractors.
- Help improve working conditions where possible for the benefit of safety.
- Act as the field safety supervisor for the construction department and stop work when required due to a dangerous situation.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Graduate in HSE Risks.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as HSE Supervisor.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer tools and databases.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word / Excel).
- Management of project and supplier databases (PDB, VDB).
