Human Resource Manager to
work in a permanent contract in Guyana with a company that manufactures, sells, and distributes beverages.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead talent acquisition initiatives and succession planning to ensure a skilled and competent workforce capable of meeting current and future business objectives.
Identify training and development needs and oversee their implementation to enhance employees' skills, knowledge, and competencies, contributing to individual growth and organizational success.
Effectively manage labor relations and oversee the implementation of the company’s disciplinary and grievance management processes, under the guidance of the Employee Relations/Industrial Relations (ER/IR) Manager.
Utilize HR analytics and HR information systems (HRIS) to generate HR and industrial relations reports that support decision-making.
Manage performance management systems and engagement initiatives to boost employee satisfaction.
Conduct market and compensation research to monitor the competitiveness of GBI’s compensation packages, aiming to attract and retain talent.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Oversee HR operations and administration, including benefits management.
Collaborate closely with the management team, acting as a strategic HR advisor.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification.
Master’s degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CIPD) will be considered an asset.
Experience in an HR leadership role, preferably within a corporate group structure. Experience in manufacturing, consumer goods (FMCG), or distribution sectors will be an asset.
