Airswift is searching for a Human Resources Manager to join a well-established manufacturing organization in Jamaica.
This role will be responsible for leading all aspects of the employee lifecycle while partnering closely with executive leadership to support strategic business objectives. The position requires a hands-on HR leader with strong employee and industrial relations experience, particularly within complex and unionized environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all HR activities across the business.
- Partner with leadership teams on workforce planning and organizational development.
- Oversee recruitment, performance management, talent development, compensation, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Lead annual salary review and bonus administration processes.
- Identify training needs and support capability-building initiatives.
- Manage employee relations and support industrial relations matters.
- Conduct disciplinary processes, grievance handling, investigations, and employee communications.
- Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's Degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 7–8 years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong industrial relations and employee relations background.
- Experience supporting senior leadership and operating in unionized environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, talent management, and performance management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR technologies.
