Vacancy Overview:
This opportunity supports critical manufacturing process operations through a blend of business systems analysis, IT systems administration, and industrial control systems support. The role focuses on virtual and physical servers, Windows domain administration, network infrastructure, cybersecurity activities, and operational support within a production ICS environment. This position offers the chance to work closely with site operations and process control teams while contributing to reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will support the Operational Technology - OT environment that exists beneath the typical corporate IT layer. Specifically, this person will be responsible for infrastructure supporting the refinery's control systems, process operations, and industrial automation environment.
Required Experience:
3 or more years of experience in an applicable information technology discipline
Experience supporting industrial control systems or control systems infrastructure in an operational environment
Experience planning and managing hardware refresh activities and capital project network deployments
Experience resolving service delivery issues and improving reliability, efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of IT services
Experience coordinating resources and suppliers to complete projects and work requests
Required Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to configure and maintain virtual and physical servers and workstations
Ability to manage and monitor network routers and switches
Windows domain administration
Ability to plan and manage cybersecurity-related activities in an ICS environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills for direct customer interaction
Ability to work effectively with business teams and local and remote IT resources
Ability to maintain documentation of supported systems
Ability to identify improvement opportunities and deliver cost-effective value-add solutions
Required Certifications:
Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing Cisco Catalyst switches
Experience with VMware or Nutanix cluster virtualization technologies
Experience managing an enterprise backup solution
Understanding of firewall principles and system security
Experience with system management applications
Experience managing and maintaining a Honeywell wireless network in an enterprise environment
Experience updating and maintaining antivirus patching software and distribution
Basic understanding of scripting and reporting for routine task data generation
Ability to influence individuals and groups and foster inclusive communication
Ability to build trust and demonstrate initiative with a results-driven approach
Experience following operational standards and processes in distributed control systems environments
