Our client is seeking two experienced Information Protection Analysts to join a newly established Information Protection team, helping protect enterprise data through incident response, threat analysis, alert management, and data security monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage and assess data loss prevention (DLP) and access violation alerts.
- Investigate and manage information security incidents from detection through to resolution.
- Conduct log analysis and monitoring to identify unauthorised data exfiltration attempts and security threats.
- Collaborate with security, data, AI, and business stakeholders to coordinate incident response activities.
- Analyse incident trends and provide recommendations to improve information protection controls and processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and data protection frameworks.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience working in Information Security, Data Protection, Cyber Security, or Information Protection environments.
- Strong experience with incident response and security investigations.
- Hands-on log analysis and threat detection experience.
- Knowledge of GDPR, Data Protection Act, and related regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience within large multinational or global organisations.
- Exposure to Data & AI governance or enterprise data office functions.
- Experience working with DLP, SIEM, or security monitoring platforms.
- Familiarity with information governance and data classification programmes.
