The resource will be involved primarily in port dredging and marine infrastructure works.

Key Challenges and Responsibilities

  • Acting as the technical liaison between port construction activities (e.g., quay walls, dredging, marine utilities) and port operations teams.
  • Ensuring design-to-construction coordination, particularly for dredged channels, berths, and marine instrumentation systems (e.g., berthing aids, PLC, and F&G interfaces).
  • Ensuring contractors respect interface boundaries between civil dredging, navigation systems, utilities, and existing terminal infrastructure.
  • Coordinating marine survey data, bathymetric validation, and handover documentation.
  • Ensuring timely evaluation and approval of interface agreements required by EPC contractors to avoid schedule and cost impacts.
  • Operating in a dynamic environment requiring commitment, discipline, and facilitation skills.
  • Scheduling meetings, issuing minutes, and stewarding the closeout of action items with interfacing organizations and EPC contractors.

Key Job Accountabilities

  1. Liaise with operations, engineering, project teams, and EPC contractors to facilitate and coordinate all project interface-related activities.
  2. Provide overall guidance and leadership regarding physical interfaces between dredging works and all interfacing parties.
  3. Resolve interface issues to ensure contractors can execute the scope of work effectively without delays or change claims.
  4. Organize and participate in weekly interface management meetings and monitor the overall interface register through completion and closeout.
  5. Support and implement Interface Management Plans, including registers, matrices, and reporting systems.
  6. Coordinate multidisciplinary interface reviews (civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, etc.) through regular meetings and workshops.
  7. Maintain the interface tracking database.
  8. Coordinate and ensure EPC Contractors' Interface Plans are developed, implemented effectively, and monitored throughout project execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of interface management experience within oil and gas, energy, infrastructure, or major industrial projects.
  • Experience working with operating companies, contractors, and service providers.
  • Experience in large-scale operating organizations across Operations, Engineering, Projects, or related functions.
  • Experience developing Interface Management Plans, interface management processes, interface registers, and interface reporting systems.
  • Experience in project interface coordination during FEED and EPCI phases
