One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Inventory & Warehouse Specialist to work on a 6-month assignment in their facilities in Carlsbad, NM.
Summary:
We are looking for an experienced individual to fill the position of Inventory & Warehouse Specialist within our supply chain group based in Carlsbad, NM.
Responsibilities:
- Completing physical inventory counts to ensure compliance and inventory accuracy on a routine basis.
- SAP entry of all in and outbound movements for Carlsbad yard and warehouse.
- Purchase requisition creation for both purchases and subcontracting.
- Working closely with SCM buyers and operations regarding on hand inventory.
- Understand and apply all company environmental, health and safety policies and principles.
- Maintain compliance with proper regulatory and guidelines: SOX, COPAS etc.
Requirements:
- Experience in Materials Management.
- Experience with SAP and the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong analytical, computer (MS Office suite), and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships.
- Ability to perform independently in both an office and field environment.
- Flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic, multi-task, customer service environment.
- Good organization and time management skills.
- High school or GED required
- Valid drivers license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required
- The percentage of travel required for this position is 10% - 15%
