Job Title: IT Contract Manager

This opportunity is working for a leading developer of Offshore Wind projects, it has a strong focus on contract lifecycle management, IT procurement, software licensing and vendor negotiation. The role offers the chance to support complex international contracting activity, helping to manage risk, optimise commercial value and strengthen compliance across IT agreements. This position will suit candidates with experience across SaaS, cloud services, managed services and software contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end IT contract lifecycle management, including drafting, negotiation, execution, renewal and termination.
- Develop, review and negotiate IT agreements covering SaaS, software licences, cloud services, managed services, hardware and consulting.
- Manage claims and support the resolution of contractual issues.
- Work across both project-based contracts and recurring SaaS and software agreements.
- Partner with IT, Legal, Finance and business stakeholders to structure commercial and contractual terms.
- Drive commercial optimisation through cost control, value realisation and benchmarking.
- Identify and mitigate contractual, operational, data privacy and information security risks.
- Support IT sourcing initiatives and maintain contract repository standards.
- Lead contract renewal strategies and renegotiations to improve value and reduce auto-renewal risk.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, intellectual property rights and cybersecurity clauses.
- Provide contract advisory support to IT stakeholders and project managers.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- 3–7+ years of experience in IT contract management, IT procurement, vendor management, or software licensing.
- Proven experience negotiating IT agreements with global vendors.
- Experience working in international contracting environments.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT commercial models including SaaS, subscription, licensing and cloud consumption models.
- Knowledge of IT risk areas including data protection, cybersecurity, intellectual property rights and liability frameworks.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Ability to plan and negotiate renewals and additional purchases for IT vendors.
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to balance risk mitigation with commercial pragmatism.
