IT Desktop Support Analyst is a hands-on technical support opportunity within an office-based environment, supporting end users with desktop equipment, mobile devices, meeting room hardware, and day-to-day IT needs.

Role Context

This position sits within a practical IT support setting, where the focus is on delivering and maintaining equipment, assisting users, and supporting smooth desktop operations across office and remote working environments.

About the Role

The IT Desktop Support Analyst will play a key part in preparing and deploying IT equipment, supporting users with hardware and software issues, and helping maintain effective IT services across the business. The IT Desktop Support Analyst will also contribute to desktop moves, device setup, and support for mobile and meeting room technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and prepare desktop equipment for deployment to end users.
  • Deliver and install desktop assets and peripherals.
  • Provide desktop incident support to users in the office or working remotely.
  • Assist with user moves between office locations, including cabling, desktop configuration, and patching.
  • Build, image, and configure PCs for deployment using standard processes.
  • Support disposal, delivery, and returns processes as required.
  • Support corporate mobile phones and hardware for meeting rooms.
  • Provide assistance with KBR\ASPIRE Apps and MFA on personal devices.
  • Follow Health & Safety regulations at all times.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Good understanding of operating systems and Microsoft applications, specifically Windows 10 /11 and MS Teams.
  • Knowledge of imaging/building of PCs with MECM/CM or similar.
  • Good communication skills and good written and spoken English.
  • A full UK driving license to drive company vehicles.
  • Preferred if already BPSS and SC cleared.
