We are currently partnering with a well-established organisation seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their Business Support Solutions team based in Melbourne Docklands.

About the Team

The Business Support Solutions team provides administrative and operational support to the Melbourne Docklands office. The team currently consists of four Administrative Assistants, a Team Lead and a Supervisor who work collaboratively to support day-to-day business operations, reporting activities and office administration.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive professional looking to develop their administrative career. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide a broad range of office support services, ensuring the smooth operation of meetings, events, reporting activities and general administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise catering requirements through approved vendors.
  • Coordinate meetings, training sessions, workshops and office events.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and scheduling requests.
  • Arrange visitor access and site entry requirements.
  • Support printing, document preparation and general office administration.
  • Process invoices using the company purchase card.
  • Assist with reporting and data management activities.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to various stakeholders across the business.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 1–5 years of experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Sound understanding of general administrative processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
  • A reliable work ethic and positive team-oriented attitude.
