Job Title: Junior Network Engineer – Japanese Speaking (Early Career)
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
This opportunity offers the chance to build technical capability in IT networking within a structured support environment. The role focuses on network incident troubleshooting, technical documentation, and collaboration across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 teams, while providing exposure to Collaboration, Enterprise Networking, Service Provider Networking, and Network Security. This position is well suited to candidates looking to strengthen hands-on networking knowledge while working in both English and Japanese.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, or a related field
Required Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in networking or related IT support roles
- Previous exposure to service desk, IT helpdesk, or network support environments
- Experience supporting technical issues and working within structured operational procedures
Required Skills:
- Ability to assist with troubleshooting and resolving network incidents under guidance
- Strong written and verbal Japanese language capability for supporting Japanese-speaking end-customers
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to document technical issues and resolutions clearly and accurately in English and Japanese
- Strong interest in IT networking, including Routing and Switching, Enterprise Networking, Service Provider Networking, and Network Security
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-tier technical teams and internal stakeholders
- Strong curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- JLPT N1 or N2 certification
