Laboratory Chem Analyst
Job Description: Typically, the successful candidate will:
- Operate as the technical focal point and skill guardian for analytical techniques applied within the workgroup.
- Initiate and implement new developments to further improve laboratory support capabilities.
- Perform complex analytical projects, including preparing project proposals and delivering results effectively.
- Review and challenge project proposals to ensure deliverables are fit for purpose and support operational requirements.
- Drive continuous improvements to the efficiency and quality of routinely applied analytical methods.
- Ensure that non-routine laboratory work supporting operational units is fit for purpose.
- Stay abreast of analytical developments within Shell and across the industry in the relevant area of expertise.
- Provide technical training, guidance, and coaching to laboratory staff.
