Role Overview
- Perform routine and non-routine laboratory analysis/wet chemistry on product and in-process samples to support quality assurance/control.
- Assist lab supervisors/chemists in maintaining high standards of laboratory operations.
- Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accurate results.
- Prepare samples and maintain accurate data generation and records in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Utilize analytical instruments to address quality assurance/control issues effectively.
- Prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents, setting preparation standards as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Chemical/Process/Technical Engineering expertise.
- Proficiency in quality control systems.
- Strong laboratory analysis skills, particularly in wet chemistry.
- Experience with calibration and maintenance of test equipment.
- Data generation and record-keeping accuracy.
- Quality assurance knowledge.
Education & Experience
- Qualifications: Polytechnic graduate with a background in Chemical/Process/Technical Engineering.
- Experience: Preferable experience in quality control systems.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computer applications relevant to laboratory work.
