Role Overview

  • Perform routine and non-routine laboratory analysis/wet chemistry on product and in-process samples to support quality assurance/control.
  • Assist lab supervisors/chemists in maintaining high standards of laboratory operations.
  • Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accurate results.
  • Prepare samples and maintain accurate data generation and records in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Utilize analytical instruments to address quality assurance/control issues effectively.
  • Prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents, setting preparation standards as required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Chemical/Process/Technical Engineering expertise.
  • Proficiency in quality control systems.
  • Strong laboratory analysis skills, particularly in wet chemistry.
  • Experience with calibration and maintenance of test equipment.
  • Data generation and record-keeping accuracy.
  • Quality assurance knowledge.

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: Polytechnic graduate with a background in Chemical/Process/Technical Engineering.
  • Experience: Preferable experience in quality control systems.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computer applications relevant to laboratory work.
