Job Title: Land Agent
Duration: 3–6 months
Schedule: 5/40 - Remote with some Travel
Location: Florida, USA (Remote)

This opportunity focuses on securing land rights and stakeholder agreements to support project delivery safely, legally, and on schedule. The role offers a primarily work-from-home environment with occasional travel for landowner engagement where needed, and sits within a project setting involving route selection, land acquisition, title research, and GIS-related work. This position will play a key part in managing parcel impacts, coordinating agreements, and supporting progress across critical project milestones.

Required Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in land acquisition or related land rights work.
  • Experience identifying affected parcels and required property rights for project development.
  • Experience negotiating easements, rights-of-entry, temporary workspace agreements, licences, and property purchases.
  • Experience supporting landowner outreach, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management.
  • Experience coordinating title research, ownership verification, agreement execution, and recording processes.
  • Experience tracking acquisition progress, critical path parcels, and land-related project risks.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to support route selection and route optimisation activities.
  • Working capability with GIS software.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills for landowner discussions and agreement management.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with survey, environmental, engineering, and permitting teams.
  • Ability to support acquisition cost estimating, project budgets, and status reporting to project teams and leadership.
  • Ability to manage construction access agreements, staging area rights, damage claims, and property restoration discussions.

Required Certifications:

  • Florida Notary Licence (Required)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Location in southeast Florida would be advantageous.
