Role Overview:
This opportunity supports the delivery of energy infrastructure projects by securing land rights and stakeholder agreements needed to keep work moving safely, legally, and on schedule. The role sits within a technical project environment and focuses on land acquisition, route selection support, title coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with survey, environmental, engineering, and permitting teams. This company is a diversified energy delivery business with operations across natural gas, electricity, propane, compressed natural gas, and renewable natural gas solutions.
Required Experience:
- Experience supporting land acquisition activities for project delivery, including identifying affected parcels and required property rights
- Experience negotiating easements, rights-of-entry, temporary workspace agreements, licences, and property purchases
- Experience with landowner outreach, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience coordinating title research, ownership verification, and execution and recording of agreements
- Experience tracking acquisition progress, managing critical path parcels, and supporting acquisition cost estimating and project development budgets
- Experience working with cross-functional teams such as survey, environmental, engineering, and permitting
Required Skills:
- Ability to support route selection and route optimisation activities
- Ability to identify and manage land acquisition risks across project phases
- Strong negotiation skills across access agreements, staging area rights, and property-related arrangements
- Ability to manage damage claims and property restoration discussions
- Ability to provide acquisition status updates to project teams and leadership
