Lead Civil Engineer
12 month contract (minimum)

Job Summary:
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the worlds leading EPCM companies based in the Perth CBD.
You will bring expert civil engineering expertise, managing a portfolio of projects across multiple major customers covering the Mining and Oil & Gas industries. Your skills will include strong technical design experience, as well as design management experience across similar projects of high complexity.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Lead a team of civil engineers and designers
- Take responsibility for the technical delivery of all civil-related elements
- Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures
Support effective communication with the civil engineering team and project stakeholders, including customers.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or relevant degree
- 15+ years' experience in civil engineering design in the mining, energy and/or infrastructure sector
- Familiarity with software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD and 12D would be beneficial
- Prior experience managing a team delivering projects under a tight schedule is essential
- Sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements
