Airswift is looking for a Logistics and Operations Analyst (Local Candidates)
to work in a permanent contract in Guyana with a maritime services company.
Professional with experience in the maritime, offshore, shipping, logistics, energy, or oil and gas sectors.
This professional will be responsible for coordinating onshore logistics, vessel support activities, crew administration, regulatory reporting, technical support, and operational assistance for maritime and offshore operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the primary point of contact between charterers, vessel masters, and onshore stakeholders regarding operational matters.
Carry out logistics activities to support vessel operations, including supplies, port calls, agency services, and vessel-specific requirements.
Arrange transportation between ports, airports, warehouses, offshore bases, and vessels.
Ensure the delivery of goods and services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Develop and maintain a network of local suppliers, logistics service providers, service companies, and agents.
Support technical, crew-related, and operational activities in coordination with company stakeholders.
Coordinate the import and export of vessel supplies, equipment, tools, and spare parts.
Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and government authorities.
Ensure all customs documentation and clearance processes are completed accurately and on schedule.
Monitor and track shipments to maintain visibility of inbound and outbound logistics activities.
Provide logistics and customs support to vessel crews and operational teams.
Coordinate mobilization and demobilization activities.
Support onboarding processes, certification management, medical examinations, travel arrangements, and personnel administration.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
Assist with workforce planning and personnel allocation requirements.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant academic background in maritime transport, maritime operations, logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related fields.
Experience in the maritime, offshore, shipping, logistics, energy, or oil and gas sectors.
Prior experience in vessel operations, charter-party contract administration, or maritime logistics.
Experience interacting with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain operations in Guyana.
Sound knowledge of local administrative and regulatory processes.
