Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Duration: 1 year assignment initially with possibility of extension
Schedule: 14/14 rotation
Location: North Slope, Alaska (flights to Alaska will be covered!)
This opportunity supports remote construction operations in the North Slope, Alaska, with responsibility for coordinating personnel, materials, equipment, and supplies in a demanding Arctic environment. The role plays a key part in materials management, transportation coordination, inventory control, and warehouse support to help maintain project execution and delivery schedules. This position is well suited to professionals with industrial construction or heavy industrial logistics experience who can operate effectively across multiple teams and priorities.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in logistics coordination, materials management, warehouse operations, supply chain management, or construction support.
- Experience supporting industrial construction, oil and gas, mining, pipeline, LNG, energy, or other heavy industrial projects.
- Experience coordinating the movement and delivery of materials, equipment, tools, and supplies to project locations.
- Experience with receiving, inventory tracking, material reconciliation, freight logistics, and warehouse activities.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience using ERP or materials management systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Maximo, or similar platforms.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of transportation coordination, shipping documentation, inventory records, receiving reports, and material staging activities.
- Ability to monitor critical deliveries, communicate schedule impacts, and resolve logistics issues proactively.
- Commitment to compliance with company policies, site requirements, and safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience supporting remote or camp-based operations.
- Alaska North Slope or Arctic operations experience.
- Experience coordinating critical path materials and construction equipment mobilisation.
- Knowledge of inventory management, receiving processes, and warehouse controls.
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and freight management practices.
- Understanding of industrial construction workflows and project execution processes.
