Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Duration: 1 year initially with possibility of extension
Schedule: 14/14 rotation
Location: Anchorage or North Slope, AK
This opportunity supports remote construction operations in an Arctic project environment, with responsibility for coordinating personnel, materials, equipment, and supplies to help maintain efficient project execution. The role offers exposure to industrial construction logistics, materials management, transportation coordination, and inventory control in a challenging remote-site setting. Camp accommodation and travel assistance are provided.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in logistics coordination, materials management, warehouse operations, supply chain management, or construction support.
- Experience supporting industrial construction, oil and gas, mining, pipeline, LNG, energy, or heavy industrial projects.
- Experience coordinating the movement and delivery of materials, equipment, tools, and supplies to project locations.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience using ERP or materials management systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Maximo, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of receiving, inventory tracking, material reconciliation, shipping documentation, and warehouse operations.
- Ability to coordinate freight logistics, including trucking, air freight, and specialised transportation services.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple departments and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience supporting remote or camp-based operations.
- Alaska North Slope or Arctic operations experience.
- Experience coordinating critical path materials and construction equipment mobilisation.
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and freight management practices.
- Understanding of industrial construction workflows and project execution processes.
