Logistics Coordinator II (Offshore Marine Operations)

This opportunity supports a complex upstream logistics operation within a deepwater oil and gas environment, focused on schedule deviation management, cargo allocation, vessel coordination, and issue resolution. The role works across multiple regions and stakeholder groups, helping maintain vessel schedules, port plans, manifests, and operational data in planning and optimization tools. This position offers exposure to marine logistics, offshore supply chain operations, and process improvement activities in a technically demanding setting.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
5+ years of experience in infield logistics or cargo and vessel coordination roles
Experience in deepwater oil and gas operations
Required experience with deepwater drilling operations
Required experience in West Africa, particularly Angola, Nigeria, or Guyana
Experience working across multiple vessel types such as MFPSV, PSV, AHTS, IMR, FSV, and tugs
Experience supporting schedule changes, live operational issue resolution, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment
Experience with warehouse and shorebase operations, including materials picking, staging, containerization, shipment coordination, and trucking exposure
Experience working across multiple regions, time zones, and operational constraints
Experience supporting process refinement, workflow validation, user acceptance testing, training, and knowledge transfer activities
Strong vessel scheduling, cargo planning, routing scenario development, and marine logistics coordination capability
Ability to maintain vessel schedules, port plans, manifests, and vessel movement data in Kabal and related planning and optimization tools
Experience with vessel planning and execution systems, including optimization and scenario-based planning tools
Strong cost and commercial awareness, including evaluation of vessel day rates, fuel use, third-party service costs, utilization impacts, and service-level trade-offs
Strong critical thinking, structured problem-solving, and the ability to evaluate trade-offs and challenge assumptions
Clear and concise communication under time pressure, including coordination with operational teams by phone or radio
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within cross-regional and cross-cultural teams
Ability to coach others on marine scheduling processes and systems
Willingness to work within a 24/7 coverage model, including overtime as required
Ability to travel internationally for business trips, including travel to Africa and India
Proficient in SAP, Polaris, and offshore manifesting tools like Cabal, DaVinci, and One Logistics
Preferred Qualifications:
Marine operations, marine engineering, or equivalent maritime background
Exposure to marine service requirements beyond cargo movement, including passenger movements, tanker connect/disconnect operations, subsea operations, and environmental audits
Exposure to crane operations
Previous exposure to deepwater business operations within a major integrated energy environment
