Position Overview

The Mail Room Clerk position offers an opportunity to take on a technical and experienced-level role supporting mail and parcel operations within an assigned facility environment. This Mailroom Clerk role is suited to candidates who can work within established regulations and guidelines while maintaining accuracy, safety, and service quality. The Mailroom Clerk will contribute to the reliable flow of incoming, inter-office, domestic, and international mail activities. Role Context

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and support the safe delivery of mail and light parcels within assigned facilities.

  • Sort incoming and inter-office mail and light parcels for timely delivery to the correct addresses.

  • Process outgoing parcels, pouches, and domestic or international mail accurately.

  • Ensure mail handling activities follow relevant regulations and guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate address information associated with mail and parcel sorting.

  • Keep the workstation up to date and accurate to support efficient mail room operations.

  • Work safely at all times while carrying out daily operational duties.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Essential:

    at least 2 years of relevant experience.

    Strong understanding of mailroom or related operational discipline.

    Ability to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and develop recommendations.
