This opportunity focuses on planning and scheduling maintenance activities within a technically demanding operational environment. The role supports routine maintenance delivery through effective coordination of work teams, resource planning, cost estimating, and schedule development, with a strong emphasis on safety, equipment readiness, and efficient execution. This position will suit candidates with experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and estimating tools, alongside the ability to manage critical path activities and support field execution.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within an applicable discipline, appropriate certification(s) within discipline, or equivalent professional experience

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience in a closely related maintenance planning or scheduling position
  • Experience planning and scheduling routine maintenance work in coordination with work teams and operations
  • Experience developing schedules, cost estimates, and equipment plans for maintenance activities
  • Experience planning complex jobs across multiple disciplines and supporting resource planning with scheduling and execution teams
  • Experience tracking and scheduling field order changes and managing work contingencies with schedule impact

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of safety, health, and environmental requirements
  • Ability to develop complete job plans including materials, resources, and timelines
  • Ability to identify and monitor critical and sub-critical paths for major events
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency in selected scheduling and planning software
  • Ability to apply planning logic including lead, lag, critical path, and milestones
  • Ability to resolve scheduling issues such as negative float, out-of-sequence updates, resource overload, scope change, and progress validation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely convey recommendations to management
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in work team meetings to remove barriers and steward action items and cost profiles to work plans and estimates
