Job Title:

Maintenance Superintendent
Duration: 9 months
Schedule: Full Time - Rotational position (4 weeks on / 4 weeks off)
Location: Tanga, Tanzania

This opportunity sits within a major crude oil pipeline and marine storage and export terminal environment, supporting maintenance and inspection activities across terminal, pressure reduction, solar farm and block valve station assets. The role is focused on safe, efficient field execution, equipment availability, CMIMS-driven maintenance planning, and coordination of multi-site maintenance campaigns. This position offers broad operational scope across oil and gas facilities with strong exposure to shutdown preparation, contractor management, and site leadership.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor level qualification or similar

Required Experience:

  • 10-15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry

  • Minimum 4 years as a site discipline or multidiscipline leader or supervisor

  • Experience in site or multi-site planning preparation and activity management

  • Experience supervising maintenance operations, inspection activities, and contractor performance in an operational facility environment

  • Experience supporting shutdown scope definition, campaign planning, commissioning or re-commissioning, and maintenance execution

Required Skills:

  • Good knowledge of CMIMS

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office

  • Good experience using Primavera

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

  • Strong decision-making, communication, organisation, and methodical working skills

  • Ability to manage maintenance planning, permit-to-work preparation, risk assessment support, and execution readiness across multiple work scopes

  • Ability to support HSEQ culture, incident reporting, audit activity, operational procedure review, and maintenance performance improvement
