We are working with a national operator to source a Management System Analyst. This is a long-term contract role working on a residential basis. Please see details below.
Title: Management System Analyst
Start Date: ASAP (typically within 1 month notice)
Location: Qatar Onshore / Doha HQ
Working Schedule: 5 days per week / 8-10 hours per day or as per project requirements.
--Experience Required--
Key Job Accountabilities
• Assist client’s Sr. QHSE management system analyst in setting up annual HSE objectives; monitor and provide needed support for realization of HSE objectives.
• Review and implementations of permit requirements for materials warehouse, ensure to provide appropriate qualifications training for all work permit applicants.
• Incidents/Near miss /Unsafe acts/conditions reporting.
• Safety alert /lesson learnt
• Acts as focal point for department SMART objectives, assist to management, review, and set the achievable target and get department management approval.
• Materials warehouse & office inspections for all locations i.e Dukhan, Mesaieed & RLC etc. Participations in operations site HSE inspections, reporting, tracking & follow-up for closures.
• Planning and organising department HSE tours.
• Department Risk register preparations, review and updates
• Legal Obligations Registers (LORs) preparations, review and updates
• Preparations of department training matrix and periodic review for new requirements
• Safety campaign i.e heat stress management, chemical handling, hot work, height work, lifting operations etc.), Life-Saving Rules (Poster/Banners)
• Chemical Handling, Storage & Transportations
• Inspection of chemical storage & handling facilities, implementing safe measures for chemical transportations.
• Implement MSDS and safe work process & procedures at warehouse, COSHH training.
• Transportations & Storage construction materials
• Implementing safe measures for during lifting for storage & transportations of materials.
• Implementing client approved plan for all heavy lifts
• Environment Monitoring, Co-ordinate to conduct environment monitoring i.e. Noise, co2 emission, illumination level etc.
• Waste management, Waste storage, segregation (Haz./Non Haz), & handling, Vendors/contractors coordination’s for waste management for disposal as per law.
• Assist client’s Sr. QHSE management system analyst in carrying out corrective actions against internal and external HSE audit findings.
• HSE Plan /Procedures/Method Statements preparing, review and implement.
• Site HSE Audit, Organising & conducting, preparations of reports, tracking and follow-up for closures.
• Fire & Safety, Periodic inspection of firefighting system, Co-ordinations with TPI vendors for periodic inspection/testing/calibrations.
• Review and assess the HSE documents related to contracts.
--Minimum Requirements--
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent from recognized body & NEBOSH Certificate.
Knowledge and Key Skills
• 10 years of experience in in supply chain/ warehouse/ material handling including Oil & Gas sector.
• Experience in planning, conducting, and reporting QHSE Audits and Inspections.
• Skills and experience in analysis and reporting of HSE data.
