This opportunity supports a major EPCI project environment and is focused on overseeing complex package execution from award through delivery. The role offers broad exposure across engineering, supply chain, project controls, construction, installation and commissioning, with responsibility for cost, schedule, QHSES compliance and stakeholder coordination. It is well suited to professionals with strong package management, contract administration and project delivery expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assigned packages, including purchase orders and subcontracts, in line with budget, schedule, QHSES requirements and project objectives.

  • Provide accurate periodic status updates and short and long-term outlooks to the project management team.

  • Identify risks and opportunities throughout package execution and support mitigation and capture planning.

  • Maintain an accurate account of package cost, commitments, variations and forecast.

  • Provide inputs to project controls and support alignment on current and forecast cost and schedule.

  • Review required-on-site dates with schedulers to identify priorities and support implementation planning where applicable.

  • Track bid basis cost and schedule assumptions against actual execution performance.

  • Interface with key stakeholders including suppliers, engineering, supply chain, QHSES, construction, installation, commissioning and project teams to achieve package goals.

  • Arrange and attend status meetings with suppliers and other involved parties as required.

  • Manage formal correspondence related to package execution.

  • Attend key project meetings, including progress meetings, kick-off meetings and pre-inspection meetings.

  • Oversee day-to-day processes across functions to resolve technical and commercial issues and remove execution bottlenecks.

  • Apply management of change requirements and support project change notice processes.

  • Oversee documentation priorities to support efficient delivery from a cost and schedule perspective.

  • Review key package documents, including technical bid evaluations, commercial bid evaluations, purchase orders and supplier data.

  • Work with end users to maintain alignment and manage expectations throughout execution.

  • Ensure prime contract flow-down requirements are correctly administered, including variations.

  • Support planning, performance and resource allocation across the package team.

  • Develop and maintain contingency planning and lessons learned.

  • Lead implementation and verification of compliance with company policies and procedures, including mandatory training completion.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant discipline (Required).

Required Experience:

  • 10 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Project Management, Package Management, Manufacturing, or a similar field.

  • Experience supporting package delivery within an Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation project environment.

  • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders involved in package execution.

Required Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge across all phases of project package execution.

  • Strong commercial knowledge of contracts, purchase orders and supply chain disciplines including proposals, purchasing, expediting, logistics and material management.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Ability to manage package cost, commitments, changes and forecasting with accuracy.

  • Strong understanding of QHSES requirements and the ability to ensure compliance.

  • Understanding of the requisitioning process from bid stage and clarifications through purchase order award and post-award execution.

  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and risks relating to quality, safety, budget and schedule.

  • Strong written, verbal and public speaking communication skills.

  • Leadership capability and the ability to work effectively with team members and senior stakeholders.

  • Willingness to travel to supplier offices, headquarters, job sites, labs and other relevant locations as required.

Preferred Education & Certifications:

  • PMP certification (Preferred).

  • PE certification (Preferred).

Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • General management experience.

  • Specific domain knowledge related to the proposed packages.
