Airswift is seeking a Managing Director to work at Georgetown- Guyana, on a permanent position with a leading organization.

Strong commercial leadership background required.

Extensive experience in sales, marketing, and business development.

Proven senior-level negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Ideally from: Retail Distribution, FMCG, Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods

Experience managing supplier relationships and B2B commercial partnerships

Accountable for commercial performance P&L, growth, inventory management, and operational governance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Managing Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall direction for the organization. Working closely with the Sector Head & his Executive team, the Managing Director establishes long-term goals, creates and implements business strategies, and ensures the organization's financial stability and growth. This role involves overseeing all operational activities, managing a team of senior executives, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. The Managing Director represents the organization externally, building relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the community. Additionally, the Managing Director is accountable for maintaining regulatory compliance, monitoring performance metrics, and driving organizational success through effective decision-making and resource allocation.

Setting Strategic Direction: Developing and implementing long-term goals, business strategies, and plans to ensure the organization's success and growth.

Financial Oversight: Managing the organization's financial health, including budget planning, financial forecasting, and monitoring financial performance.

Operational Management: Overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring efficient and effective delivery of products or services.

Leadership and Team Management: Leading and managing a team of executives and employees, fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and high performance.

External Relations: Representing the organization externally and nurturing relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the community.

Supplier & Customer Satisfaction : Ensuring that the KPI’s of our suppliers & customers are achieved and that they maintain a high level of satisfaction in our service.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that the organization complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Performance Monitoring: Monitoring key performance indicators, analyzing data, and making strategic decisions to drive organizational success.

Resource Allocation: Allocating resources effectively, including capital, manpower, and technology, to maximize productivity and achieve strategic objectives.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS 

BSc. Business Administration, Management, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline an MBA will be considered an asset
