Marine Senior Field Engineer
The Marine Senior Field Engineer applies in-depth knowledge, experience, and best practices in Marine Operation. They are responsible for understanding project specific requirement, plan for safe and efficient offshore operation, prepare procedures and all project equipment for mobilization and offshore installation. During offshore execution, a Senior Field Engineer will be the focal point with the onshore PMT and offshore fleet including clients.
Main Duties of the Jobholder
1.Be fully familiar with the project scope of work, specifications, schedule, and all inter-discipline requirements; including identifying concerns as early as practicable and taking appropriate initiatives to address the issues
2.Prepare Installation Procedures, loadout manual, vessel dossier, mooring manual, and transportation manual. This includes preparation of task plans and storyboards.
3. Review and comment on marine subcontractor’s operation related deliverables.
4. Act as a single point of contact Offshore for PMT during marine installation.
5. Manage the interfaces between engineering and marine operation subcontractor.
6. Supervise marine operation and coordinate relevant issues.

Maintain close cooperation with other engineering disciplines, Planning, Fabrication, Marine, and Project Management Team, as required.

Assist in the preparation of estimates for bid proposals, review ITT, prepare technical query, prepare method statements, prepare offshore installation schedule, able to produce Basis of Estimate, able to list down all required equipment and installation aids and manhour estimates.
9. Attend project review meetings, vendor meetings, engineering meetings, and offshore site surveys, as required.
10. Actively drive Constructability Reviews, Readiness Reviews, and HAZID Reviews.

Participate in internal, Customer, and third-party technical audits on engineering deliverables and vendor documents.

Capture lessons learned and prepare Close Out Reports.
13. Prepare Scope of Work and Request for Quotations for Vendors and Subcontractors.
14. Prepare Technical Bid Evaluations.
15. Work with Supply Chain Management to procure required project items.
16. Produces sketches and concepts and prepare design input for engineering team to produce reports for installation aids, pile drivability, pipelay analysis, lifting analysis, etc.
