Airswift is searching for a Maritime Security Supervisor (Offshore)
Location: Georgetown, Guyana (Rotational Assignment)
Contract: 12 months, with potential extension
Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off
Primary focus: Maritime & Offshore Security Operations
We are supporting a leading international energy company in the search for an experienced Maritime Security Supervisor to oversee offshore security operations, vessel security programs, risk management activities, and the implementation of security standards across offshore assets.
This position is primarily onshore-based in Georgetown but will require routine offshore travel and site visits as part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and enhance offshore security programs and security operations
- Conduct security assessments, investigations, and incident reporting
- Develop threat assessments and support intelligence-led risk mitigation
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, maritime authorities, and security service providers
- Support crisis management, emergency preparedness, and security response planning
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards, maritime regulations, and company procedures
- Mentor and provide guidance to offshore security personnel
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Security, including leadership responsibilities
- Prior experience in maritime, offshore, oil & gas, military, coast guard, law enforcement, or high-risk environments
- Strong background in security operations, investigations, threat assessment, and crisis management
- Experience working within complex multinational organizations
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills
- Ability to work rotational assignments and travel offshore as required
Preferred Certifications
- ISPS (CSO, SSO, and/or PFSO)
- BOSIET/T-BOSIET
- Lead Auditor
- Process Safety or HSE certifications
- Maritime Security-related certifications
