This opportunity offers the chance to support Materials Engineering studies within the Oil & Gas sector, with a focus on inspection analysis, material characterization, and technical methodology development. The role is based within an engineering/design office environment and will contribute to ongoing project activity requiring autonomous delivery and close coordination with multidisciplinary teams. This position will suit candidates with strong experience in SDSS piping, sigma phase assessment, and fractography-related testing methods.

Required Experience:

  • Experience working within the Oil & Gas sector.

  • Experience operating in an engineering or design office environment.

  • Experience providing technical support across multiple ongoing projects.

  • Experience analysing inspection reports related to Super Duplex Stainless Steel piping.

  • Experience identifying suitable equipment and specialised companies for technical inspection activities.

  • Experience developing and finalising methodology documentation for engineering studies.

Required Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of Materials Engineering studies.

  • Ability to determine corresponding sigma phase values from SDSS piping inspection reports.

  • Ability to define test methods and application types for material characterization trials using fractography.

  • Ability to work autonomously under project management responsibility while coordinating with other disciplines.

  • English language proficiency, written and spoken.
