This opportunity focuses on materials management, inventory optimization, and supply chain support within a dynamic energy industry environment. The role is responsible for managing MRO and consignment inventory programs, supporting turnaround (TAR) and capital project material readiness, and ensuring material master data integrity within SAP. Working closely with Procurement, Maintenance, Operations, Finance, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams, the successful candidate will drive inventory optimization initiatives, support critical spare parts programs, coordinate material availability for maintenance and project activities, and improve inventory performance across the organization. This position combines strategic, analytical, and operational responsibilities and is ideal for a professional with strong SAP Materials Management expertise, experience supporting turnarounds and projects, and a passion for continuous improvement and supply chain excellence.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or another relevant technical discipline

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Materials Management, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, or a related field

  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP

  • Experience supporting inventory control, inventory optimization, and inventory performance analysis

  • Experience collaborating with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Maintenance teams

  • Experience supporting demand planning, inventory replenishment, and materials management activities

  • Experience with physical inventory counts, reconciliations, and inventory accuracy programs

  • Experience maintaining material master data and supporting data integrity initiatives

  • Previous experience within the oil and gas, energy, petrochemical, or related industries preferred 

  • Experience supporting turnaround (TAR) events and capital projects, including material planning, forecasting, staging, inventory optimization, consignment inventory management, and coordination with Procurement, Operations, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams.

Required Skills:

  • Strong SAP knowledge and experience using ERP reporting tools

  • Strong understanding of Materials Management and inventory control processes

  • Knowledge of inventory strategies, inventory level setting, and continuous improvement principles · Ability to monitor and communicate inventory performance metrics and KPIs

  • Strong focus on data quality and material master record integrity

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional and matrixed organization

  • Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to influence stakeholders

  • Ability to support spare parts management and critical inventory programs 

  • Strong knowledge of Turnaround (TAR) and MRO materials management processes, including material planning, critical spare parts management, inventory optimization, and ensuring material readiness for maintenance and project execution activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with major Oil & Gas operators, EPC companies, or energy industry organizations

  • Understanding of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) inventory management

  • Knowledge of inventory modeling, forecasting, inventory accounting, or statistical analysis techniques

  • Experience supporting warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain activities

  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of total cost of ownership concepts

  • Ability to lead initiatives and support future team leadership opportunities
