This opportunity focuses on inventory control, optimisation and materials management across a regional or site-based energy environment. The role supports continuous improvement in inventory performance, data integrity and spare parts strategy, while working closely with finance, procurement, maintenance and operational stakeholders. This position offers broad scope across inventory analysis, physical verification, demand planning and inventory modelling within a technically complex setting.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or another relevant technical discipline

Required Experience:

  • Materials management process and systems knowledge, with hands-on experience working with ERP (SAP) and reporting tools

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the area
  • Experience supporting inventory control, inventory optimisation and inventory performance analysis across a regional or site environment

  • Experience collaborating with line, finance and procurement teams to evaluate inventory requirements and support total cost of ownership decisions

  • Experience with physical inventory counting and reconciliation processes aligned to finance requirements

  • Experience supporting demand planning, surplus identification and obsolete material disposition activities

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of inventory strategy, inventory level setting and continuous improvement in materials management

  • Ability to monitor and communicate key performance indicators related to inventory performance

  • Strong data quality focus, including maintaining material master record integrity

  • Ability to work effectively within a functional matrix organisation and influence leadership and operational stakeholders

  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication

  • Ability to support spare parts linkage to critical assets and service level reviews at item master level

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong commercial skills and the ability to make effective decisions based on economics in the best interest of the company

  • Understanding of equipment and materials used in the energy sector

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, inventory modelling techniques or inventory accounting

  • Field experience working in or supporting inventory control, warehouse operations or inbound logistics in the oil and gas sector or other industries
