This opportunity is focused on providing mechanical engineering and asset integrity support within a complex LNG and energy facility environment. The role will help improve equipment reliability, reduce operational risk, and support sustainable solutions for recurring mechanical issues across critical plant assets. This position offers involvement in reliability investigations, mechanical integrity programs, turnaround support, and startup readiness activities.
Required Education:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Required Experience:
8+ years of experience in LNG, upstream oil and gas production facilities, gas processing, refining, petrochemical, or related energy facilities
Experience supporting mechanical integrity, equipment reliability, failure analysis, and risk-based decision making
Experience working with pressure vessels, piping systems, valves, heat exchangers, fired equipment, compressors, pumps, turbines, and other critical plant assets
Experience supporting troubleshooting of mechanical reliability issues involving rotating and static equipment
Experience contributing to Management of Change, incident investigations, and turnaround planning and execution
Required Skills:
Strong capability in root cause failure analysis, failure investigations, and vulnerability assessments
Working knowledge of RBI, fitness-for-service, inspection planning, damage mechanisms, and industry standards including API and ASME
Ability to identify, assess, and drive closure of recurring equipment reliability and integrity risks
Ability to develop and implement long-term reliability improvement plans for critical equipment and systems
Ability to coordinate effectively with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability teams, OEMs, contractors, and external engineering resources to resolve technical issues
Technical understanding of mechanical integrity programmes for pressure equipment, piping systems, valves, heat exchangers, fired equipment, and rotating machinery
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with HRSGs and STGs
