Mechanical Project Engineer
We are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to support the procurement and delivery of mechanical equipment packages, including pumps, valves, and associated process equipment, for a six-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement packages from RFQ through to purchase order award and delivery.
- Coordinate with engineering, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure technical and commercial requirements are met.
- Review vendor documentation, technical queries, and bid evaluations.
- Monitor supplier progress and support expediting activities to meet project schedules.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and procurement procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3-6 years of experience in procurement, package engineering, or project engineering within the oil & gas, mining, energy, or industrial sectors.
- Experience managing mechanical equipment packages such as pumps, valves, compressors, or similar process equipment.
- Strong stakeholder management and supplier coordination skills.
