Job Title: Multi-Skilled Operator III
Duration: 6 months initially with possibility of extension
Schedule: 7/7 rotation
Location: Dunn Center, North Dakota
This opportunity is based in North Dakota within an operational production environment focused on well operations, gas lift systems, ESPs, three-phase separation, gas compression, pipeline operations, and control board activities. The role supports safe and efficient production by monitoring equipment performance, carrying out operational rounds, preparing maintenance activities, and coordinating with engineering and support teams. This position offers technically varied responsibilities across field operations, data gathering, production optimization, and equipment support.
Required Experience:
- Typically 5–7 years of operational experience in a technical production environment
- Experience supporting well operations, including gas lifted wells and ESP systems
- Experience working with three-phase separation, gas compression, pipeline operations, and control board operation
- Experience performing varied and complex technical tasks within broad operating parameters
Required Skills:
- Must live within max 50-mile radius from Dunn Center, North Dakota or willing to relocate at own cost (no per diem or allowance available)
- Strong working knowledge of well and equipment performance monitoring to support production optimization
- Ability to prepare for and perform maintenance activities, including taking readings, conducting rounds, issuing work permits, and following procedures
- Ability to initiate work requests, write procedures, and interface effectively with support groups
- Knowledge of minor maintenance activities involving valves, pumps, and rotating equipment
- Ability to work with engineering teams on data gathering requests and production-related analysis
- Experience tracking test compression data and conducting fluid level checks with echo meter equipment
- Thorough understanding of the technology, applications, terminology, and procedures relevant to the function
