This opportunity is with a company operating in the energy sector and offers a technically focused position supporting production and field operations. The role involves well operations, gas lift systems, ESPs, three-phase separation, gas compression, pipeline operation, control board activities, and equipment monitoring, with a strong focus on production optimisation, maintenance support, and operational performance. This position will suit candidates with solid upstream operations experience who are confident working across rotating equipment, valve and pump maintenance support, and production data tracking.
Required Experience:
Typically 5-7 years of relevant operational experience
Experience in well operations and production-focused field environments
Experience supporting gas lifted wells, ESPs, three-phase separation, gas compression, and pipeline operations
Experience performing more complex technical and functional tasks within broad operating parameters
Experience preparing for and supporting maintenance activities, including readings, rounds, work permits, work requests, and procedure development
Required Skills:
Thorough working knowledge of operational technology, applications, terminology, and procedures relevant to the role
Ability to proactively monitor well and equipment performance and take appropriate action to maximise production
Capability to support minor maintenance activities involving valves, pumps, and rotating equipment
Ability to work with support teams to optimise chemical pump rates using production data, including corrosion, paraffin, and soap injection considerations
Ability to interface with engineering teams for data gathering requests and technical support activities
Experience tracking test compression data and conducting fluid level checks using an echo meter
Strong understanding of control board operation and coordination with operators and craft personnel
