This opportunity is focused on coordinating TÜV inspections, third-party certification activities, and regulatory compliance across a major Oil & Gas and Petrochemical project. The role supports engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up by ensuring pressure equipment, piping systems, electrical installations, and safety systems meet applicable standards and inspection requirements. This position offers strong technical scope and a key role in achieving mechanical completion, system turnover, and final acceptance.
Required Education:
Degree or Higher National qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Quality Management.
Required Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, LNG, Power Generation, or Energy projects.
Experience coordinating TÜV inspections and third-party certification activities.
Experience working on EPC or EPCM projects.
Experience supporting construction, mechanical completion, commissioning, and handover processes.
Experience managing quality documentation and certification packages.
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of pressure equipment inspection requirements.
Knowledge of industrial construction quality processes.
Understanding of welding and NDT requirements.
Experience managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Knowledge of mechanical completion and turnover systems.
Ability to coordinate inspections, audits, witnessing activities, and regulatory reviews in line with project milestones.
Ability to review and manage quality records including MTCs, WPS, PQRs, welder qualifications, NDT reports, hydrotest records, FAT and SAT documentation, calibration certificates, and manufacturing record books.
Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and standards.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, planning, and organisational capability.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of PED and ATEX requirements.
Familiarity with ASME, API, DIN, EN, ISO, and IEC standards.
Experience on refinery, petrochemical, LNG, energy transition, hydrogen, or carbon capture projects.
German language skills.
Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001).
