JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Coating Supervisor is responsible—under the supervision of the offshore project team and the RSES-D / Company Site Representative—for tracking, monitoring, and supervising coating activities performed by the Contractor and Subcontractor(s) on board the vessel, ensuring that technical coating requirements are properly applied by them.
Apply the company's HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and safety culture on board the installation vessel.
Ensure the implementation of all approved procedures during offshore operations or utilize the Management of Change process for any alterations.
Supervise all offshore operations on board the installation vessel (J-Lay / S-Lay / PLSV / MSV).
Act as the company's focal point on board the vessel, liaising with the company site representative (FPSO RSES).
Act as the company's focal point on board the vessel during emergency situations (in accordance with the HSE integration document between TEPSR and the Installation Contractor).
To provide daily report to the SURF Installation Manager & his Deputy.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Offshore Engineer/Supervisor with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in SURF.
In-depth knowledge of SIMOPS and HSE standards.
Experience with major EPCI projects.
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues (HSE, technical aspects, procurement, transport, storage and preservation, engineering, construction, quality control, schedule, costs...).
Experience in construction.
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Certification : Painting & WET insulation - level III (NS 476) ACQPA, FROSIO, NACE
Pipe coating Inspector with strong experience IMPP, IMPU, stand alone FBE and HBE liquid epoxy solutions with application Offshore conditions.
